I'm coming down with a buddy of mind. We're early 20's. We are going to be checking out some real estate for a potential move down there next spring, when I graduate and he transfers to the airport. We're looking for a bar scene that will be decently crowded on a Tuesday and Wednesday night (which may be too much to ask, but I do live in a college town). Any good specials? Anything worth checking into. I'm going to be talking to someone about a place at the "Vue" and anything around there would be nice, as well as within walking distance to the Marriott City Center hotel (where we will be staying). Thanks everyone. A club with 20 something women known to frequent would be a huge positive. A good cigar bar and/or restaurant would be cool as well.

I am in my early 20s and live in uptown... I don't usually go out Tues/Wednesdays.. Thurs/Friday/Saturday are the days I usually hit up the bars.
Bars that I always enjoy are Dixies Tavern, Phils Tavern, RiRa's Irish Pub . There are probably 20 more bars within walking distance.
Cans would be a good place to check out too. You should be able to google these places to find them on a map.
