You know the circumstances, so I won't go into too many details. I'm currently taking care of my wife's two cats since she's in Assisted Living. Now that I have to vacate the house, they obviously can't come with me. Are there any reasonable alternatives to the Humane Society?

Craig's List? Coworkers? A sign in the neighborhood?

You may want to ask someone at the Petsmart on Independence about a lady who has a cat rescue. I adopted a wonderful cat from her several years ago. Her first name is Brenda, but for the life of me...I can't remember her last name. She is really nice, and loves all of her cats and kittens....you may be able to find her also at the Petsmart at 51 and 485. or the one on Rea Road. Maybe, if it were possible you could post their pictures on this site for others to see. Good Luck
