Has anyone had a handyman assemble a wood swing set? We bought ours at Costco and we are looking for someone to assemble it for us.

You have two offers to help which is great. It is very hard to find someone to help assemble swing sets. One friend couldn't even get an exact amount from one guy...just a very big range.

Default Need assembly for swingset

Hi! Saw your post. If you looked at a picture of the set, could you quote a price? Thinking of buying set from Sam's Club or Costco. Let me know, and I'll send you the info.

I think my brother bought the same setup. I helped him out and it took a good 1/2 hour just to sort out all of the fasteners. We used a cordless impact driver and that made life much easier. Forget trying it with a plain ratchet.

Actually, I have been looking for one of the wooden playsets for my son (who just turned 6), but am unwilling to pay $3500 for a set he may outgrow in a couple of years. If any of these fine gentlemen on here are able to help you out or if you have some recommendations for a play set I would love to hear back from you as to how it turns out as I may follow your lead on this.

I just found a great set with great reviews at Sams, and it's $400 less when you pick it up yourself. It was $1699 delivered or $1299 in-store pickup. It's the Skyfort Cedar Playset with slide. I was excited when it said "cedar" for the price, but I think it's an imported wood, that's really not cedar, it's just what most mfgs. are referring to as cedar because it used to be called "chinese cedar".... I looked up cedar sets, and they look completely different, and are WAY more expensive. It seems to have everything we've been looking for....now we just need someone to put it together; not sure if my husband can complete it himself, and if he does, it'll probably take him weeks! I'm going to try Service Magic if I don't get a reply on here. Good luck!
