Hello all! Just wanted to pop in real quick and see if I can get any feedback.
I'm moving to NC at the end of this year (ah!) and wanted to get a few suggestions about the neighborhoods surrounding Charlotte. I'm 25 & single and wanted to see what the best areas are for young adults.
My sister recently moved to Huntersville & loves it! I loved it too, especially Birkdale Village. But I'm looking for somewhere in the middle of Huntersville & Charlotte. Does that make sense? Simply because I'll most likely have a job lined up closer to Charlotte itself.
I've been starting my research and I feel a little overwhelmed because I didn't realize how many areas there are in Charlotte besides Uptown!
I'm looking to keep the rent between $800/900. Any help would be great! Thanks so much!
I personally suggest looking at Southend. You will possibly find a 1br place for the amount you showed. But, it is a great place for people your age. Also, the light rail runs through Southend. Plenty of restaurants, bars, etc. there.
Agree with Lassielad. You are young and working close to center city. Look in town for a 1 BR or efficiency. You should be able to find something in your price range. Good luck!
