Does anyone know how long you need to be an established resident of NC to get in-state tuition at your state universities? Is there a wait period (ie., 2 years living in-state) or is it just showing proof of residency? TIA!

Who knew it was just a google click away! Anyways, thank you. Looks like it's 12 months for NC.

It is one year. If you were transferred with your job, community colleges can waive the 12 month waiting period but not state university.
