I am interested in the Concord, Kannapolis, moorsville areas. Is there any lakes other than Norman, that are nice public lakes that are good for water sports??? I own 2 skis and like to jump the wakes behind the boats sometimes, but I do stay back from them about 100 feet or more. I enjoy thrashing on mine since It has been modded from stock. What areas that are on the northern side of Charlotte are good for Jet Skiing?

I also ride dirt bikes in my spare time also. What areas have nice places, trails to ride. Also I am looking for practice tracks to play on also. I see there is a couple in Concord. Is there reasonable housing to rent that may have nice big lawns with woods that would lead to some trails to ride on??? What areas outside of Charlotte would have this?

For dirtbikes, check out the places in Uhwarrie (Brown Mountain, etc)

For a track, check Flowes Store Road (In Harrisburg, Midland area). I cant remember exaclty where (probably no more than 5-10 miles north of Hwy 24/27.

For jet skiing I'd suggest you check out Lake Tillery. If you lived in the Concord area it wouldn't be a bad drive there.
