All full sized trucks today have overly huge bodies it seems with the same load capacities and room.
Like they gained weight but not muscle.
THIS. Reminds me of those TV shows where the skinny dork puts on fake padding and blow up muscles to impress women, but in the end it's all show. A couple years ago there was a GM showing at Lowes (take a test drive, get a Lowes gift card). And of course for some reason most of the staff were hot young women. Well she proceeds to try to sell me on the leather interior and cup holders and sound system. When I asked about towing capacity and low end torque, that shut her up for the rest of the ride. GM, I want a truck, not a fashion statement.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I think the new GM trucks are amazingly beautiful, I love em. If I were in the market for a new pickup, I wouldn't look at any other brand but GM.
I purchased two new vehicles in the last six months, one for wife, one for daughter. Never in my wildest dreams would I, or did I, look any further than the nearest Chevy dealer.
No Ford, dodge, or foreign vehicle will ever roll a tire on my driveway.
They will sell GM is not worried they will sell millions of them, people every year always say the thing but they keep on selling millions, they have been making and selling cars and trucks for over a 100 years.
I like the GMC over the Chevy. I was a big GMC guy for a long time and I had great luck with them. I like Fords better but that's just my personal choice. If had to choose between the GMC or the Chevy I would go GMC.
Meh, its a truck, quite honestly at the point the pics were taken of both of those trucks it looks like a waste of 2 trucks. Scratch that paint up, a few good dings in the side panels, and a bent tailgate and they'd both look better
I agree. To me, trucks are made for utilitarian purposes. They aren't supposed to be trophy vehicles, and the ones designed like look really stupid. My wife has a 99 Toyota Tacoma, and she hauls lots of stuff in it: ladders, toolboxes, meters, all sorts of things. And of course it hauls pieces of furniture and power tools in it occasionally as well. The paint is faded and peeling, it's getting rusty, and the rear end is dinged from when a young woman hit her in a gas station parking lot. Now THAT'S a real truck, not these plastic clown cars
