Take 1 car that is a S or SE model and start adding options and it will cost more than the next model SE or SEL with the same exact options. Want a Malibu 2.0T, that will be $30K, there is no way the 2.0T cost $5K more to make than a 1.5T.

These same exact cars with almost the same type of equipment were atleast $5K less in the past.

I dont even want to get started on the insanely overpriced CUV and SUV's that GM and Ford are selling for $40-50K, and in some instances $70K+ for a Fully loaded Tahoe.
