I'm supposed to fly out Sunday morning. I am debating leaving the day prior due to the snow expected on Saturday night and overnight. From what I have seen, snow is expected to end at 1 am. I guess I'm concerned about flight delays? (I know that flight delays happen all the time, so I don't expect to fully protect against that, but does snow of max 6 inches (ending at 1 am) mean pretty much guaranteed flight delays?

I lived here 20 years ago and there was so much snow those two winters, but I kind of have snow amnesia.

I don't have too much time to change the flight due to the type of fare, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.

FWIW, weather Saturday daytime seems much worse overall. Windy, freezing rain, etc.

You'll be fine on your normal flight. Temps in the 30s and rain/snow mix Saturday are not gonna shut down or delay Ohare for Sunday.
