602A Misconduct (unemployment, tax, live in)

I live in IL and I was was terminated from my job then I received a letter from IDES stating I was discharged from my job for a 602A Misconduct & stated I'm scheduled for a phone interview. My supervisor stated I was terminated for lack of work & other circumstances. In the phone interview should I mention what I was told or not mention it & wait for the determination

I would mention it. IDES handles unemployment and it is in the companies best interest for IDES to deny your claim. Unemployment is paid for by a tax on employers and employers that layoff more often pay a higher tax. If you were terminated for lack of work then you deserve unemployment and you should set the record straight. In this state getting let go of for any reason(provided you have worked for the company three months) gives you the right to unemployment but in some states unemployment can be denied for cause(like being late
