Jewel is cheaper all the way around from my experience. Even when Dominicks has sales it is still more expensive than Jewels sale price.

You should go to the Jewel at 2940 N. Ashland in West Lake View. It is the best Jewel ever. I believe it is the top performing Jewel chainwide.

hehe. you said Jewels. This was just mentioned in the chicago slang thread (chicago slang??) that people from here add the letter S to things. I'm semi-new to the area so i'm starting to pick up on it :-)

The Dominick' by me is nicer (Park Ridge) and I like that they have the grocery miles program. I think for every 250$ spend (which seems like every week), I get 125 United Miles. At least its something.

I think Jewel is cheaper and also better kept up. Dominick's(most, not all) is run down and I think there customer service has gone down hill.
