That's correct. The rate is $181 a day instead of $25 a day.

Wow! To go 10 miles the train ride is 50 mins?
25-90 mins by car? On a sunday?

Good grief I guess I have it pretty good here in atlanta.

Maybe I should just settle down somewhere and get a pizza. Is the pizza really as good as they say it is?

Didn't realize you were talking about Sunday, so you won't have the worst of rush hour traffic to deal with. However, on weekends the traffic can still be pretty bad, especially if there is a Cubs game or some major event going on in the city. I'd say you can plan on at least 30 minutes by car from the Loop. It has taken me far longer on a weekend.

Yes, the train is slow, even though they have removed most of the slow zones. There are a lot of stops between the Loop and O'Hare.....it's definitely not express. Also, on weekends, parts of the track are under construction and you'll have to switch onto a bus for part of the way, which will make it take even longer.

Going for a deep dish pizza may be a good idea. I'm not a big fan of it myself, but many people love the stuff. 2 Hours could also be enough time for a quick walk through the Art Institute, if you're interested in that. You won't be able to see everything, but it should be enough to check out the new Modern Wing, for example.
