I am a current Chicago resident that is thinking about taking a job in the Washington Metro area, however I own a home in the chi and for the most part prefer Chicago over DC, mainly because of affordability. With all the above in mind I am thinking about commuting from Chicago to DC weekly for work. My model commute would be to leave monday mornings and be back home friday evenings. Has anyone done this commute, is this commute doable?
