I don't know if it's right to point fingers. But think of it this way: any church denomination that does not recognize the Jesus Christ dwelling within them is not of God. Ask your preachers where Jesus Christ is. If they don't know, that's because they don't know Him.
Most denominations talk about a Jesus who lived 2,000 years ago, and then was taken up into a cloud into heaven somewhere that nobody has any idea of, either where it is nor who is there. They talk about a Jesus who is still in this mysterious realm beyond the stars, waiting, watching, and will come back sometime in the future, and people will see him flying through the air on a cloud.
This is mere mythology, and it keeps people "drugged" into focusing on something that they cannot understand or know. People are kept in the dark about the saving power of Christ
within them by lots of preaching of things outside them.
But God's plan for mankind is that He will cast out the serpent out of man's heart and dwell in man Himself. When we are overshadowed by His presence, we will have the witness in ourselves that it is true, and we won't need anyone to tell us about Christ because we know Him for ourselves within us.
Mankind is Zion, that most holy city where God Himself will dwell.
God revealed His Son in Paul, and this is the revelation of Jesus Christ that we all must have, sooner or later. That's why Paul asked the question in 2 Cor. 13: "know ye not that Jesus Christ is IN you??" He had the witness within himself, and he knew it.
We must wait patiently for Christ the Anointing to be manifested within us, not looking outside us, as the preachers who have seen nothing tell us. Mankind is distracted by religion and all its trimmings, which drug and blind. But Christ gives Light and Life.
That's what is special about the birth of Jesus, that we celebrate today (Christmas).
Emanuel, God with us. The beginning of God being manifested in flesh. It began with the single person, Jesus of Nazareth, and will end with all mankind being filled with God's Spirit like Jesus was. It's the Spirit that gives life.
Blessings and Merry Christmas to all!
Brian
