1 Timothy 2:3-6 KJV For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God
our Saviour; (4) Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto
the knowledge of the truth. (5) For there is one God, and one mediator
between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (6) Who gave himself a
ransom for all, to be testified in due time.

1 Timothy 4:9-11 KJV This is a faithful saying and worthy of all
acceptation. (10) For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach,
because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially
of those that believe. (11) These things command and teach.

Why would God have us command and teach He will save all mankind and in fact is all mankind's Saviour as much as He is the believer's Saviour if it is wrong? Maybe He wants us to lose everything? Obviously you know better than God.

However...I hope this doesn't turn into a "UR debate" ----- this will be short lived if it does.

Remember the "red rule only" .......

Because some still maintain that 1 slice doesn't define the loaf.

I think you know most translations translate it a "who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."

You ask a good question, Why would God have us command and teach the Gospel if He is going to save everyone whether or not people accept it?

Actually, why would God tell us to teach that He is all mankind's Saviour as much as the believer's and tell us to teach He will save all mankind if He won't save all mankind and if He is not all mankind's Saviour?

The reason He tells us to teach these things is because they are FAITHFUL and will come to pass.

You do realize the majority of bibles don't have "Who desires all people to be saved" don't you?

And even if every bible said that, it would just prove He will do it because the Bible says "ALL MY DESIRE I SHALL DO."

Since Christ is the only Saviour, He is "THE" Saviour of mankind, just like Obama is the president of all Americans, even those who hate him. That is his title, 'The Saviour' but a title does not mean He will force everyone into heaven. The reason why He tells us to spread the word is so people can come to Him, believe, and be saved.

God desired Jews to follow the 10 commandments too, but since no one did, it is fair to say God permits people to go against His desire.

Jesus is the Saviour, and He will save everyone who wants to be saved.

Everyone will want to be saved in due time as testified by the scriptures.

Unfortunately many die before acceting Christ. For them it is too late.

Hebrews 9:27 Just as man is destined to die once, and after that to face judgment.

What if Obama told his disciples to tell every American he is going to give all Americans $55,000.00. And then he never did. Would you not say he is a liar?

And since God tells us to teach He will save all mankind and is all mankind's Saviour, if He does not do what He tells us He will do, can we not call Him a liar?

As to God "desiring the Jews to follow the 10 commandments" have you not read that what Moses said to the Israelites? . . .

"Yet the LORD hath not given you an heart to perceive, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, unto this day." Deut 29:4

In the future God is going to write the law on their hearts and then they will do all the law.

And have you not read what Paul wrote concerning the law of Moses? . . .

Rom 5:20 Yet law came in by the way, that the offense should be increasing.

Rom 8:7-8 because the disposition of the flesh is enmity to God, for it is not subject to the law of God, for neither is it able." (8) Now those who are in flesh are not able to please God.

Clearly you are incorrect to state that God meant for them to do the law.

The fact that you think God just wants to save all mankind shows how deficient you are in knowledge as to the ransom. Christ ransomed all mankind. All mankind have been ransomed. That is the reason given for why it is that "God will save all mankind."

By the way, a Saviour is one who actually saves, not just offers salvation. He is the Saviour of all whom He saves. Since He will save all mankind He therefore is all mankind's Saviour. Quit being disobedient and start charging and teaching these things.

You took Hebrews 9:27 out of context. It has nothing to do with how you are using it.
