Yes - I remember.

Escapism = A sad and useless mindset.

Just remember that none of this has ever been about actually predicting anything. It has always been and always will be about money.

While people scoff and laugh that he is wrong, Harold has been laughing all the way to the bank.

End times theology in Christianity makes people in positions of religious authority money, that is the only truth you will find in any of it.

True. Talk about being tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine and being fleeced in the process.

That's right, I forgot all about it!! Oh my goodness, what a joke. What's so special about the 21st anyway? First is was May 21st, now it's Oct. 21st.

Where's the billboards this time? I mean, we have to be properly warned.

What?! Does that mean he might not come back then?! But I've already quit my job and sold everything I own!!

...yeah that would suck if that were true, but I wonder how true it actually is for a lot of people. These second coming claiming chicken littles are just plain dangerous.

The context was Mat 24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him for to shew him the buildings of the temple.
Mat 24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
Mat 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?

world being age, G165, that is translated as "eternal"

The end of that age was 70AD
