Good morning all, today is 9/11 and I'm wondering what people here think happened on that fateful day that changed our history.
I'm posting it here in the Christianity forum, as I've had many discussions (and disagreements!) that have helped me come to understand the truth as I see it now. Part of understanding that truth for me has been realizing what 9/11 was, or rather what it wasn't. So I'm interested in what you, my fellow city-data Christianity forum posters have to say.
Do you believe the official story, that a guy in a cave, along with about 20 guys armed with boxcutters, managed to evade the largest military & surveillance agency in the world, and completely destroy 3 WTC towers with 2 airplanes?
Or do you think we have not been told the truth? I believe as Christians, and as humans in general, we are meant to search and find out the truth. The truth will set us free.

I think many americans still think we live in a society where the average people (middle class) govern. But I don't. (at least not anymore) The rich are the ones who run things, and I believe Jesus knew this too.
To me, part of the Kingdom of God is the reality of everyone being truly equal, truly brothers and sisters. Not just economically, but on every level.
As for who orchestrated 9/11, I don't know when we'll know for sure (someday I think we will though). My hunch is that it was blowback for all our previous war activities and government overthrows in the ME (and there's been a few).
