If the USA is a Christian nation does that mean our government should adopt the laws of the Bible?

No. That's a good way to let in corruption. The founding fathers were men of God and they knew pushing their religious beliefs on others was not advisable, so they didn't.

It isn't as shown by the Laws is passes. It, like all nations, is ruled by Satan and that is why all nations will be destroyed by God. They oppose Him. Here they use religion to promote themselves, not God.

The US is NOT a Christian nation. I'd recommend that you use the Search function to see what has been said on this subject many times. Besides, this is a political issue that probably won't last long after the thread degenerates.

No it is not a Christian nation. It's a nation with a lot of Christians. We have something called "separation of church and state".

Does no one listen in Civics class anymore?

The USA is a nation that believes in God but everyone is free to believe in God in their own fashion.

I don't think they even offer Civics anymore, which is appalling.

Apostolic anointing of Christ for nations which are predominately Christian will have a creative anointing and protection from the Living God through Lord Jesus Christ and they will be blessed by God with the complete cycle of life , as believers anointed with the gifting of Holy Spirit for the Apostle can be given by God understanding into the plan for these nations ................ Nations which ignore the God from Christ and push the worship of Christianity out of their nations can be handed over to the devil and his curses of the cycle of the death .................. Nations which Christians are persecuted but are of the underground church can be blessed with a creative blessing from the living God into their economic for the development of the nations which can be discerned by the gift of Holy Spirit for the Apostle ................. See America has a long history of Christianity but has give some authority over to the devil through this culture which come from Europe and abroad and the liberal authority , where God can lift His hand in areas where there is no hope or faith in God for protection , where we see today Weather disturbances from lack of faith and lack of Holy spirit ............. As we see the world leader reject the Olympics because of some law in Russia which bans raping the youth with sexual propaganda , which is hypocrisy because this nation and many nations also have law banning law on raping the youth ....... See we see a understanding of spiritual discernment into the liberal political ideas which are alien to God so God hand will be off were faith is absent

While the New World was settled by many Christians, the USA cannot be considered a Christian nation with an official national religion. It is important to point out that many of the first explorers and colonists came to the New World for the expressed purpose of making money. Their is also the misunderstanding that the Founding Fathers were all Christians. They certainly grew up in a Christian environment, and used Christian language, and (often) followed Christian standards. However, Benjamin Franklin created his own moral standards to follow, and Thomas Jefferson literally cut out the parts of the Bible he didn't agree with. The first Muslim congressman, Keith Ellison from MN, was sworn in on Jefferson's Quran. A number of other Founding Fathers' Christianity is called into question (including George Washington and John Adams).
So it is established that the U.S. is not a Christian nation. So, what? Should laws based on Christian morals be eliminated? In the Early Church Paul was careful to make it clear that Christianity was not a political movement (mostly because Rome was worried it was). According to the New Testament Christians are to obey the laws of the land they are in - unless those laws mean going against God. In the U.S. we have the opportunity to be a part of legislation, a privilege and a responsibility. The separation of Church and State does not mean that Christians must leave their morals in the church. It means that the State cannot regulate the Church and persecute based on religious beliefs. It means that Christians, Muslims, Hindus, and any other religious group can live their lives based on their faith. So my answer is this: a Christian should not be able to say "this is the law because God said so," but a Christian should also not vote for or promote legislation that contradicts their beliefs.
Christianity is not a Sunday morning religion, it is a way of life.
