Then I will return to discussing the OP and repeat my suggestion that there is a different between "Homosexuality: What does YOUR Pastor say about it?" and "Homosexuality: What does YOUR Pastor say about it?" when we strongly stress the last two words.
That is to say we generally know what pastors think about the subject but the actual substance of their issue with it is not clear except, as we have seen on this thread, to simply declare they "know" it to be wrong or sin.
Yet there are other practicing Christians who "know" no such thing. Catholic blogger, writter and political commentator Andrew Sullivan for example writes extensively on the subject and sees no issue between his religion and homosexuality.

Why don't we make a clear distinction between homosexuality as in same sex agape love and Same sex erotic love. Totally different and one is OK and the other isn't, according to the Bible.
Now if some do not believe the Bible, then they may well do as they wish, after all many believers do when it comes to sex between unmarried people of the opposite sex.

Because "Agape love" is not sexual I guess. So homosexuality is not a term that really applies. It is a sexuality issue, so the distinction you make simply does not apply. I have immeasurable love for many people, including people of my own sex who are unendingly dear to me, but I would not call this homosexuality. I simply call it love. And such love is independent of sexual configuration. You might as well distinguish "pedophilia" as loving your child and loving your child.

According to one interpretation of the Bible that is. As I said, writers like Andrew Sullivan have a different interpretation of the same text.
