Ruach Ha'Kodesh is Hebrew for wind, breath ,spirit and has a female connotation in its defining . The Holy Spirit is of course one of three roles of the triune God or biblically Godhead. We can ask God Spirit for understanding the word to ease child birth ( many believe the Holy Spirit is like a mid -wife, but also plays a major role in the embryonic process.) He/She lives within us once we believe in the son of man which should drive us to protect our morality, mouth, emotions etc.

What?? The earth is your mother? I don't know where you guys get this stuff from... Well yes I do - the world.
No...Think about it...G-d sired Adam through the earth...So, technically you can say that the earth is your mother and G-d is your Father...Thou shalt honor thy Father and thy Mother, this is the P'shat meaning or simple meaning....The Remez or hint at a deeper meaning would be to honor (respect) your Creator and Earth, which most of us don't with respect to the Earth...

You said that whole "the earth is your mother" spiel with such conviction...
Did you forget that God cursed the earth in Genesis 3?
Are you really equating G-d, whom you won't even type out on the keyboard, to the earth which has no life and God cursed?

Lord forgive Him...
Why would anyone be in need of forgiveness for respecting the earth?
