The story of Lot--the men of the city went to Lots house to have sexual relations with his visitors( angels) they brought the young boys with them--Lot offered his two virgin daughters instead but they didn't want to take no for an answer.
You've completely butchered that story. It never says only the men and boys went to the house, Lot offering his daughters (as deplorable as that is) and the crowd turning the offer down had nothing to do with sexual desire, as evident by Judges 19. The issue here is attempted rape and assault by a crowd of people trying to show how they don't take kindly to strangers. God had already decided to destroy the city before that ever happened, and Ezekiel says he chose to do so because of their inhospitality.
There is absolutely nothing in the Bible that supports that story referring to gays. By your stupid logic, all heterosexuals are evil, because some of them rape women.

The issue is that of physical violence; and great cruelty.

Everyone having sex out of marriage is already condemned as wicked by God.( 1Cor 6:9-11) Man and woman God made to be married-period.
Gen 19:4,5--the men and the boys it says. to have intercourse with the strangers.
Have you not read the rest of this thread that has already addressed what you state above? Let me ask you a question. Why do you think that the residents of Sodom wanted to inflict violence on Lot's guests?
Gen 19:4-5--they( Men and boys it says) wanted to have intercourse with the strangers.
And how does this mean that that is the reason G-d destroyed them?...
For the same reason as those who practice these 1Cor 6:9-11 are facing. God says their acts are wicked. It teaches--they will not enter Gods kingdom. There is but 1 other alternative--destruction.

You must surely know from reading past posts that I know what Genesis 19:4-5 says. Furthermore, this passage of scripture has already been addressed by several people a number of times anyway. So, why would you feel that we never before realized what the story of Sodom is all about?
Moreover, you did not remotely answer my question. I asked you ...WHY do you think the residents of Sodom would want to inflict violence (rape) on Lot's visitors? It's important that the motives or the possible motives for threatening to rape strangers are addressed. You are aware, are you not, that this story has nothing to do with homosexuality per se ...?
Okay, for those who have not looked up the Ezekiel text for themselves where he explains WHY Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, here it is:
Ezekiel 16:49-50King James Version (KJV)
49 Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy.
50 And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good.
Question, why did Ezekiel not mention homosexuality - or the Hebrew term for "homosexuality" - when offering an explanation as to why these cities had been destroyed? Could homosexuality even be inferred from the above passages?
Be careful ...
