2Co 4:3 And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.
2Co 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
Millions walk the world today completely blind to the things of God thanks to the prince who has power today over this fallen cursed world........satan. People if asked about the gospel will either give you a blank stare or go to the religious buffet table and pick some "good" things in their minds that must surely constitute the gospel. That's not good enough.
This blindness can be overcome only by God......He must prepare the heart and mind to accept and see the things of faith. We can see it in Acts and the story of Lydia..........
Act 16:13 And on the Sabbath day we went outside the gate to the riverside, where we supposed there was a place of prayer, and we sat down and spoke to the women who had come together.
Act 16:14 One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul.
We see the Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul, and this is every one of us in the body of Christ today. Nobody knows every detail of the work of God in salvation but we do know this insight shows how God draws us to Him.........notice Lydia was a worshiper of God, but didn't have the knowledge required to be saved.
Jesus desires that ALL come to know Him......God will honor anyone who earnestly seeks after Him.....He will draw you in and open your heart and remove the veil from your eyes.......
Like Jesus said from Matthew 19:24....``Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God ``...............See people have no need for God in their logic , and will make many excuses to not pursue God , and even many people who are not rich have logic of no need for Christian , and the more people have not even had Christianity in their youth may never pursue God in their later years , as they never ever gave God any authority to draw them to Christ , and these may die in their sin ...........Still intercessors have the authority to open the doors for God to draw in the lost , as these doors can be closed for Christians
Sad thing is they think Matt. 19:24 only pertains to silver and gold. But a man can be rich in many things that keep him away from and out of, the kingdom. Blessed are the poor in spirit.....Peace
