no one would know what loving kindness is with out God in the first place. so good luck with that idea dear.. because a dog eat dog world is coming to a theater near you soon enough. then after that you can tell HIM all about how man can walk in loving kindness without him..
Yeah, I seem to remember Jesus said you can do NOTHING without Me. He didn't say a few things, or a few "good" things, He said NO THING. Peace
You might not be capable of doing anything, but others may see it differently.
I don't WANT to be capable of doing anything. I have seen Him move in ways that defy explanation and I did NOTHING, but move with the Spirit at that moment in time, and WATCH. THAT is where I want to "be" and what I want to be "doing", EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY DAY. Peace

I hope you are WATCHING because three seconds is too long to turn your back on a child in the water.

Funny how for the sake of argument, the one who usually tries to spiritualize everything, now tries to bring the spiritual down into the natural. Peace

If you think I spiritualize everything, then you are not listening.
I am a humanistic, secular - doubting Thomas. ROTFLMAO

But you are still pretty smart for a humanist. And if we can get enough followers of Jesus on here who don't view their "gifts" and their "churches" and their perfect "interpretation" of Scripture as more important than how they relate to others in love, then maybe you wouldn't doubt so much!

I value human beings, individually and collectively, in the here and now, preferring critical thinking and evidence based on rationalism – and experience – over the dogma and superstition of religions. Yet, I do not deny the importance or the existence of God, and those things that can inspire us in our walk.

And if we can get enough real blood bought Christians on here who don't sugar coat vitally important truths to build their own kingdoms, reputations and personality followings, maybe they might even find Christ; the real one. Peace

I didn't say WHAT spirit you were trying to spiritualize everything with, now did I? Peace
