But in fact, whenever people allow thoughts that are not of Him and His word to take root in their souls, spiritual fornication has occurred. This is why the first piece of armor is the HELMET of salvation, because that is the battleground starting place, which is why we are told to bring every THOUGHT into captivity to the mind of Christ. Sanctification is both preventive and occurs after the fact, as the HG UPROOTS everything that His Spirit has not planted (deliverance) in our soul, as we submit ourselves to Him and His power. Peace
