If Christianity is the One True Path to Salvation, then why did God allow a religion like Islam to come onto the scene and thrive? Preventing the founding of a false religion like Islam should have been a priority.
There is something you need to understand. But it is something you won't understand, because it is only gleaned by reading between the lines of Judaism, Taoism, Buddhism, and Christianity. And some really obscure stuff.
This world was once One. ("Hear o Israel, the Lord your God is One") It was all Heaven, and there was no such thing as good or evil. Then we as humans created such concepts through our thoughts ("For God knows that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.") The idea of good and evil are actually just delusions, as are concepts like male and female, and even the separation between God and humans. This world we live in is called the "Desire Realm" in Buddhism and the "hologram" in Taoism. In other words, it is an illusion made with our minds. We know this, if we really think about it, but in our lives, we are attached to stuff. I, for instance, would rather make a better world than go back to the boring lonely unity that results when I dispel all illusions.
So, Islam? It is supposedly because the angel Gabriel spoke to Muhammed at the waterfall. That's actually nonsense. All of these religions, are fragments of the Self. For example part of the Self feels like a wandering nomad or like they don't belong anywhere (Jews), part of the Self wants to find the truth of existence (Buddhism), part of Self needs balance and freedom from the world of moral extremes (Taoism), part of the self wants to love and be loved (Christianity), and part of the Self is angry and frustrated and wants others to submit to its way of thinking (Islam). This part cannot really hurt the Self, because of reality we see is really just going on as a dream in God's mind. There will be peace when the self is able to build the reality it wants. Personally I could do without Islam, but I think anger is important to the drive mainly if it can be channeled constructively. Which means Islam's due for reform.

God gives men their agency -- the right to choose their path for themselves. He doesn't prohibit people from believing whatever they want to believe. Why should He? If we were all forced to believe alike, we really wouldn't be making a choice at all.

See around this year 666 AD humanism was being reborn as idols where being rejected and Roman religious influence had disappeared , and even faith in Jesus was waned into apostasy

Indeed, Muslims believe that Ishmael is the promised seed, instead of Isaac - this of course makes no sense, because Sarah was the free woman.
Islam means "law" in that regard, and Christianity means "freedom from the law" in this context.

If you are going to ask how Islam is allowed to happen, then you would also ask how you are able to happen.
Now I am not saying you represent, or are similar to Islam and their ways - but both of you choose to reject Christ.
You don't want Islam to exist, but you want to be able to freely reject Christ... can't have it both ways...
Moderate Islam is no worse than moderate Christianity. It is the evil extremists of both faiths who do the damage.
