The Peace that come through Jesus is eternal in the soul , which can show through the fruits of the spirit with Christ ......... The peace on earth comes through prayer , and when many people pray peace can come ........... See you should understand God has a calling for the earth , and God has His finger on the nuclear weapons on the earth , as God creation is at stake , and God does have a plan for the earth , and even climate change will never suffocate peoples lungs of the earth , because God has a plan , and His victory will prevail
Gods wrath is upon all people because of their sins and unbelief. Jesus Christ came to make peace by earning forgiveness by his payment of his death on the cross. His resurrection is a statement from God that the sacrifice was accepted. Now that forgiveness/peace is given to all who believe in Jesus and live as his disciples, living by His word, given us in the New Testament.
This is what I have read, Jerwade. That since the belief was, 'Heaven was closed for business'...ok that is my paraphrase, ha!
It is now open for business...thus, "Mankind? You can now be 'at peace' and relax".
Seems the angels were quite happy about this and sang it.

Where is this peace that the birth of Jesus is meant to have brought about and that so many religious people refer to at this time of year?
Romans 8:1 "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus." That's peace.
