"It’s normally beautiful sight to see someone who is living the consecrated life to be out and about in public with their habit. But, recently, on the campus of the University of Indiana, it was a cause for serious panic."

Unbelievable not to know this.
Well, there is a semblance. The Dominicans ran the Inquisitions, which also persecuted Jews, under the banner of the cross.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for stupid. I'm just glad the idiot didn't attack the priest.
Janelle, this happened two years ago, and although I cannot find the post, it was discussed at length then. Yes, the students jumped to false conclusions, but to be fair, how many of them do you think are familiar with Dominicans, must less those dressed in friar's habit? It's not a common sight.
Oh. So you enjoy having your laziness pointed out, then?
Psalms 37:12 The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them; 13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming. 14 The wicked draw the sword and bend the bow to bring down the poor and needy, to slay those whose ways are upright.
Hey, if the Lord can laugh at the "wicked"/sinners, then why can't I enjoy the vanity of those who call good evil, and evil good? We are at the "end of the age" and the day of the "tares" is coming to an end (Matthew 13:39-42). One can remain in the daughter of Babylon and take on her plagues (Revelation 18:4), or they can "come out". But if they "hang" onto Peter and his heir the pope, when he "falls", they will be "cut off". (Isaiah 22:25).

Few things are more laughable than worshiping that narcissistic boor in the bible.
