Here's the thing...I used to sit in church waiting for some miraculous "change" to take place. But nothing ever happened and you want to know why??? There was nothing wrong with me! I was (am) a devoted faithful wife, loved my kids, no smoking, drinking, drugs, porn, swearing like a sailor, being a glutton, I paid my taxes and tithes so on an so forth....So what change is supposed to take place in someone like me??? If anything I became a bitter person because I got tired of being preached at that I was piece of esss H eye tea that needed "saving" from my sin! God can't change anyone! That would go against our free will wouldn't it? If a person needs changing they need to do it themselves by CHOICE. Sorry if I am ranting. I'll understand if June gives me a cyber spanking for this.

Thank you for sharing, Betsey Lane. We are God's masterpieces and He knows exactly how to make us into what He will have us to be. Sometimes it is painful when God deals with selfishness, laziness, fear, pride, arrogance, and other sins in my life, but He knows what He is doing and we should all desire to be whatever He wants us to be.
