Brothers/Sisters I am putting up this new thread due to the fact that I cannot sleep because my Wife (Heidi) was just taken to the ER. She is pregnant at 8 mos. or 32 weeks if you prefer. Heidi is currently on bedrest because of her difficulties with pregnancy. She was having lots of pains. Some of you already know that our first daughter was born at 23 weeks (5-1/2 mos) gestation. And passed away after only 28 short days with us back in Sept. 2006. Obviously it was God's will that she is no longer with us!! I know that there are already threads for prayers, but I wanted those (few) that do know me to share their love, and any prayers from anyone would be greatly appreciated by Me, My Wife, And our unborn daughter Abigail!! Thank You soooooo very much and GOD BLESS ALL OF YOU!!!!
With nothing but absolute love,

Father, I ask you to consider the plight of your servant, and remember the covenant you've made. Let not a thing rise up that would challenge your love, but use all things to the glory of your power. Give grace to each in this time, and prove again that your love never fails. Keep our hearts and minds at this time to look unto You - the Author and the Finisher. It's in the holy name of Jesus I ask this, amen.
Dave, I will keep your wife and little one in my prayers. I pray that it is God's will for this little one to come into this life strong and healthy, and that He has many wonderful years planned for Abigail on this earth. I pray for a safe delivery and for complete healing for your wife and for peace for both of you. Please keep us updated. God's blessings.
Dave , your precious wife and baby are definitely in my prayers..You are also in my prayers for strength, faith, and for His presence made known to you during this difficult time...
Thank You guys so much, this forum is more of a blessing than some realize!! For future posts my name is Dale, just to clear the confusion. I wanna say Thank you Lord for all that I have recieved already, keep my family, especially my Children safe.
AMEN!!!
Dale, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your wife. I`m praying for God`s will to be done and the peace, comfort, and joy that only he can bring. God Bless.
Let not your heart be troubled. Try to stay calm and trust in the Lord. When I had my daughter, they came to me a day later and said that she had turned blue after drinking some water the nurses had given her (why they did that, I'm not sure, I was breast feeding her but perhaps they thought she was dehydrated). Anyway, they said they were going to run a battery of tests on her to make sure her heart and lungs were ok. I panicked at first, then I told God that I would accept whatever His plans were for my daughter's life. I had such peace. The tests showed nothing wrong and she did not have another episode but we did have to stay in the hospital a whole week. We can certainly let God know our wishes, though He already knows, prayer is for US mostly, but we should pray in Jesus' name which actually means to pray in His nature, and He always said that He prayed for the Father's will to be done, not His own. Do I always follow that path? Not hardly, I often do NOT want to follow the path He has laid out for me. But it seems that when I do quit worrying, that that is when I have the most peace and can cope with what I'm facing.
God give you strength to rest in HIS strength and be a comfort for your wife.
