Both passenger doors have a button you push to shut the doors automatically, my kids like this option however both sides buttons quit working and I'm wondering if this is something I can fix or do I have to have the dealership do it. The buttons I have up in the driver's seat to close the doors works fine, my key fab works fine, so I'm unsure what the problem is. Thanks for any advice!

I'd have to imagine the issue is somewhere in the body control module, likely both buttons connect into the same controller (which may have failed) and the front controller/fob controller are on a different circuit.

Have you checked for a blown fuse? Are there any other systems that aren't working? For a fuse, I'd have expected something larger like "rear doors don't close" as opposed to the buttons being Inop.

BTW - what year is your van? We have a 2011, that has a few issues that annoy me, but nothing MAJOR. yet.

There is a door conrol module in each door, but IMO that they both failed at once is highly unlikely. The switches are 60 dollars from Chrysler.

Did both stop working at the same time?

If so, I wouldn't suspect the switch (same would be true for the door control) it'd have to be something central between the two circuits. Likely a fuse, or connection to the main power board or body control module. Wherever the heck that's located on a Chrysler.
