Challengers look great on the outside but the in side is a different story. I lloked again just now. It's an all black 1960s interior. I think they have carried the concept of retro a little bit too far.
I admire Dodge for constantly pushing the performance envelope....but, without AWD drive, RWD cars with 500hp+ are pretty much useless on the street. Yes, I realize that tricks like drag radials (been there, done that), etc., help - but those tricks compromise other aspects of performance. By the time the average driver of something like the Redeye finds traction, cars with hundreds of HP less will be long gone. If you're looking for track times, cars like the Redeye rule. Not so much in the real world. I'd bet a Redeye driver needs to be careful with the throttle even from an 80mph rolling start. Not my idea of fun.

I much preferred the interior in the last generation Challenger. To my eye it was more retro. Don't like the newer dash/gauges at all. Enough so that I didn't even consider a newer one. Said many times tho, I'd learn to love the new interior if they bring back Furious Fuchsia.
That high pitch whine is too much for me, no way I will be able to stand for that noise day in and day out.
This is a vehicle for the serious car buff, not th3 average person can afford it or has the driving skills to handle the full power of this and the Demon.
