From the Business Journal:

From the Enquirer:
Playhouse in the Park to get new home, but on same site

The Enquirer photo of Blake Robison (artistic director) in the foreground of the Playhouse in Eden Park, aptly shows the theater's proximity to Mt. Adams, shown in the background. Essentially, here they merge into one.

Where are they going to move during te build????????? God, I hope not the Taft Theater, no legroom at all. We didn't renew Pops this year (after 10 years) because our knees are hit by seat in front of us.

This sounds superb. I hope that the community raises the funds for a top-notch, cutting edge facility. This could be transformative for the performing arts in Cincinnati.

Hopefully, Westlake Reed & Leskosky will be considered as architects for the theater, given the firm's global expertise in theater design and great experience in Ohio theater markets. Given their unique and acclaimed renovations of the Allen and Hanna Theatres in Cleveland, where intimate and acclaimed new theaters were rebuilt within the shells of great movie/vaudeville theaters, I personally would love to see one of their new theaters built from scratch in Ohio.
