Wow. I honestly thought the Northgate Mall already had closed. Looks like it's hanging on by the skin of its teeth.

Its pretty dead at this point...not much but occasional rowdy teens causing chaos and empty stores...there are quite a few store still chugging along but last time I was in there (two years or so) it was empty.

With all that just in the first 60 seconds, that video is garbage.

I totally agree. I mean, OK, so some malls are suffering. I will give that much credit. The pandemic didn't help a bit. But sheeze, this is a ridiculous video. I couldn't watch much more than the first 60 seconds of it either.

She said there are no bathrooms in the mall. Not true. There are still some by the food court.

Still, I'm amazed the mall is still hanging on. It's sad to see, I have a lot of good memories from there.

That's probably because nobody wants to get shot or robbed.

That used to be one of my old stomping grounds. We'd play all day out in Sunman, cruise over to Indiana 1 and pick-up I-74 then cut across to New Baltimore and pick Blue Jock Road and hit the mall then get something to eat anywhere on Colerain Avenue and finally end up at the Wedge Inn shooting pool.

Can't do that any more.

Thats unfortunate to hear things went that way in the surrounding areas. Personally, I used to Colerain bowl often enough and I guess thats demolished now...malls dont appeal to me but they are also a dumping ground for unruly kids too...so theres that...I do get the vibe that overall things have gotten worse around Colerain Township in general...
