1. What is considered expensive for a 2 bedroom? ... in the Mt Adams and Hyde park area.

2. I'm moving to Cincinnati as well and will be working in St. Bernard area... any recommendation for 2 bedroom apartments that are 15 mins away and in a SAFE neighborhood. Of course, the less expensive a place the better... but if possible I'd like to keep it around $1,000.

THANKS!!!

I have looked at the area but it is at least a 20+ min commute to my work.

Well if being really close to work is important, then lean towards Mount Adams. I like both of your picks, but Mount Adams is extremely unique.

I hope this can help you get an idea of the neighborhood:

Yeah, I saw that and it a very cool neighborhood... however, I understand the prices are very high for apartments there and I also can't seem to find 2 bedroom apts there.

Btw, thanks for your replies!

Hyde Park ia your best choice. I would look at rental units in condo buildings like the Regency, Grassmoor and Madison House. There are others there. All are in zipcode 45208 as you search. Ask a realtor to inquire as to renting one of the units for sale in those buildings too.

Also look at Pleasant Ridge, Norwood, and Oakley.

I lived in Madisonville, worked on Tennessee Avenue, and could fall out of bed and be behind my desk in 12 minutes.

It's a pretty quick drive down Winton Road into St. Bernard from Finneytown. I know zip about the rental opportunities there, though.

Clifton, Hartwell and Winton Place ... erm, Spring Grove Village ... aren't that far away, either.
