What a disappointment! I was hoping to find that someone had actually done the homework and posted the population of the cities over the last hundred years.

I actually saw some charts for this before, I believe it included the largest 50 or 100 cities and included their populations and ranks each decade going back to the 1800s. I'll try to find it now.
