Comparison of cities using climate charts? (state, compare, Los Angeles, airport)

Hi, I'm new and was wondering about comparing cities with the climate charts. Is there a way to draw a chart I'm looking for and search? Can I use multiple charts and maybe rank each for importance/priority? I'm looking for cities very similar to Sayville, NY but not in that vicinity/state. Ideally, I'd like to find cities that are slightly warmer (more in-line with U.S. average), with the same precipitation (or more), less wind, more snow. Less humidity if possible but it's a lower priority. I don't really care about the amount of sunshine or cloudy days. If I can gather a list of cities then I could start comparing demographics and other data.

This chart doesn't rank priorities (nor does it have all your criteria), but it gives a readable representation of temperature & precipitation throughout the year. I use it to compare city temperatures on occasion.

I used several different tools searching for my perfect climate and it sounds silly but I found this Search Results - Sunset to be a great starting point.

Breaks down into many more climate zones than the typical zone map, and gives a pretty good description of the climate. Color coded so it's fairly easy to make comparisons, but you do have to go each regional map, there doesn't seem to be just one big USA map.

I'm also a huge fan of History : Weather Underground , especially the calendar view since it gives you at- a- glance info. There are charts for wind speed, barometric pressure and all kinds of fun things. You can play with the calendar and see the weather for months or years in the past too.

The most difficult thing is humidity because air holds different amounts of water vapor at different
temperatures. A dew point of 30 is stifling in the winter but is very comfortable in the winter.

You might like Syracuse, which averages about 120 inches or so a winter, but it doesn't get too cold either.

Flagstaff is similar to Syracuse and Minneapolis but shorter winter and more sunshine. More UV, and snow melts quicker. Sedona has winter with rare snow, down close to zero some nights during Dec. and Jan., drier than East coast, but hotter during July and August by 5-10 degrees.
