Cities: Most Polished & Clean Cities in America (largest, compared, Atlanta)

I just got this idea actually.

What are some of the most polished cities in America? You can list them based off aesthetic beauty, the type of neighborhoods that looked polished and clean. Any standard to reflect the overall city. Not just one polished building in a sea of like 500 of them, like a large majority.

Please list the ones you believe to be polished and clean cities!

I would agree with all except San Francisco, I actually find it to be about as dirty/gritty as the older NE and MW cities in most areas

Boston is surprisingly crisp for it's age

also San Diego an be a dichotomy in many areas and many that are very near each other

Comparatively though, I remember being able to relate what you have said about San Francisco from each time I have been there. I will demonstrate so in a moment with my own pictures that I have personally taken.

San Francisco is one of those cities that when you are there you will see it, but as soon as I left, the idea of beautiful and clean city stuck to my head for some reason. Beautiful it is, but clean it needs to work on. I don't understand why that happened but its the overall vibe I get from San Francisco that its relatively polished.

I guess its because compared to Los Angeles, Oakland, & San Jose it is more polished, and Sacramento is polished as well.

Anyways for the sake of the comparison, I find Chicago to be one of the MOST polished cities in the country, and definitely one of the MOST polished major cities in the country there is.

Comparatively what you will see in the pictures I will provide below are two major cities some of the largest of their kind and how drastically different they can look aesthetically in person compared to their image. I still have a hard time reminding myself that my pictures of San Francisco did not show a more polished city that I keep thinking.

Milwaukee has always been a clean city. The architecture of the homes is not only unique but full of character. Streets are clean, even in the "bad" areas. Parks are unmatched in their beauty. It's also very green there with all the trees during the summer. It's a clean winter wonderland during those frigid months too.

Thats why I was comparing my personal picture of San Francisco to mine of Chicago. San Francisco leaves this "polished" feeling after you leave it, but when you're actually there, its not as polished as you will remember it to be later on.

I know as far as that feeling and vibe goes, I am going to be alone on that. Comparatively I still don't know whether to label it as polished or non-polished though.

Downtown Orlando is also one of the cleanest downtowns I've been in, its small so its easy to maintain.
