Which of these two cities would you go for based on these four factors?
As for career growth, my field is audio/visual and I'm learning IT, but I have a side interest in pursuing film/creative writing.
As for women, I'm looking for easiness to get laid/one night stands. I'm too socially dumb for long term relationships so what's the better city for random hookups?
As for public transit, I'd really prefer to go car-less. With the job I'll have I'll be going all over the city so I'll need strong public transportation.
As for affordability, I'd ideally like to get a one bedroom/efficiency for no more than $700.
Relaxing/not stressful is a 5th factor. Which city is more relaxing?
It's really a toss up. With Chicago being a huge city I would assume the IT field is much more robust. In New Orleans there are probably more opportunities for film and writing work, one night stands, affordability, and more relaxing. The idea of living without a car works better in Chicago but it's definitely possible in New Orleans with a cheap studio apartment in the CBD, Quarter, or Warehouse District. Depending on where you work you could easily bike to work, ride a streetcar, or even call a cab on rainy days.

Lol at toss up? Are you kidding me? Chicago is one of the top 10 cities in the world while NOLA is a southern metro of a million in a swamp.
Career Growth - Chicago
Women - Chicago
PT - Chicago
Affordability - Chicago
Relaxing - Chicago
Everything is Chicago, I would take a snow blizzard over swamp weather
For the OP's criteria, I'm not really sure this is a fair comparison anyway. Chicago is usually compared with cities like LA and NYC, not New Orleans.
