Are areas along the Jersey Shore like Atlantic City or Cape May more popular among retirees than other beach summer resort areas near the Boston-Washington corridor, like Cape Cod, the Hamptons/Montauk, Rehoboth/Ocean City (Delmarva Peninsula), or Virginia Beach? If so, is it a function of being nearer to the most populous metro areas along the corridor (namely, those of New York and Philadephia)?
