I see a lot of post online about this and it's stupid how people just can't accept the fact that both of them are southern cities.

It is retarded. I hear people refer to Atlanta as "The New South" and this, that, and the other. Regardless it's just a modern day southern city but still just as much southern as Charlotte and vice versa.

It's annoying. The South can have large, progressive cities. Stereotypes get the best of people.

Both are extremely southern - this is noticeable by just driving through the cities and not Even spending time

Why do people argue about any of the subjects they argue about in this forum? "What city's more urban?" "What city's more dense?" "What city will see the greatest pop increase over the next decade?" And people get HEATED.

It's so absurd it gets comical.
