Someone made a map of the development in Midtown Atlanta on another website. Some are under construction, some are breaking ground this year and some are still proposals.

?? Blues are already built. That's Comcast Center, One and Two Liberty Place, Cira Centre, Independence Blue Cross Building, etc. The one's to be built are all of the reds... all breaking ground this year.

Yes... Miami has been missing in this conversation. Perhaps because it was left off the OP's list? It probably has more under construction, soon to be under construction, and planned than most of the cities discussed so far.

Is the condo bust over in Miami or something? Or is there a lot of international $$ speculation driving development? Or is this nearly entirely organic, market-demanded development, with occupants ready to occupy each and every space being built (within a fairly normal lease-up rate of say 2 years)??

That is a pretty crazy pic!! That's what Center City and Unviersity City Philadelphia will look like by the end of this year.

There are only 8 cranes up the city now... by the end of the year there will be 22 cranes up in Philadelphia.
