Now that I think about, apart from the beach and some art deco or Spanish revival buildings from the 20s, Miami is sort of an ugly city... Should've voted for New York.
Miami should not be in this. Like seriously, it was kind of funny at first, then you took the joke too far by picking Miami over New York from a CHARACTER standpoint.. lmao... I should have picked Bridgeport.
NEW ORLEANS!
Chicago
OOPS IT WAS FROM A "BEAUTY" STANDPOINT... MIAMI IS UGLY THOUGH..
I voted for NYC also. But who cares? This is just a silly C-D game, that is spoofing off of the NCAA tournament. We all know, NYC is a superior city to Miami. And while NYC has more character, Miami is also BRIMMING with character. You can't walk down Ocean Drive past the restaurant with all the transvestites, and think "This city is so blaaaaand".

Cities like Miami get criticized so much on C-D, that people forget that the city actually has some positive attributes. I guess folks remembered those attributes in this thread. I'm shocked Miami got this far, but I shouldn't be shocked. I mean, at some point people have to wonder how a city with no real economy outside of tourism and services, no real history, bad public school system, not-so-great public transit, hot and humid weather, tacky architecture, a high crime-rate, and a high-poverty rate, can attract as many visitors and residents as it does. There must be SOMETHING attractive about the city. But then again, this tournament is about the metro areas as a whole. And I guess Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach have a considerable about of fans also.

Don't look at me dude, I voted for Miami over Portland for character based solely on the fact that they have good Cuban food and for Miami over New York for beauty based on the fact that they have some palm trees and alligators in the suburbs.
