I don't have any college experience but I'm looking for a city that accepts interracial dating, lowest cost of living, better city, better pay, looking to save money, entertaining city, better public schools, best homes/apartments, and best shopping. Looking to relocate soon and stuck between these cities.

Short and simple find better options. Interracial dating in both cities will probably get the same results and its not good ones. Tennessee and Kentucky just screams separate but equal lifestyle lol

Totally disagree...both are great options and Louisville has so many interracial couples I see daily. I give louisville the nod bc it has less sprawl and much lower cost of living.

It's been a while since I've been to Louisville, but one of the things I remember vividly about the area was the prevalence of interracial couples. It really took me by surprise.
I've heard Louisville is pretty accepting for a Southern city. Don't know about Nashville.
They are both progressive, accepting cities. Interracial dating is fairly common. Most people are busy working and raising families to be worried about what someone is doing next door. In other words, they are not small towns.
Both are quality cities; Nashville has more nightlife, Louisville is now rated as a top food city in the US, Louisville is also great for kids (not sure about Nashville in that regard) with its museums. Both are progressive in respect to their surrounding state. We are an interracial family also (white male, black female, white child) and never received so much as a glance when we visited Louisville.
Both are nice I have been to both would probably give the edge to Nashville though its really growing and offers alot visit both though and get a feel.

Well, I've been to Nashville and asked/read a good bit on Louisville on here (plus had a couple of friends visit a few years ago) so I'll give it a go.
Nashville seems to be more of a destination city / "IT" city right now. It's affordable, but if what other CD posters tell me is accurate some of the nicer areas are already overpriced. Country and Americana music are big, but you probably already knew that.
Louisville from what I'm told is more of a hip city that's started to attract an indie and/or alternative crowd. It's also supposed to be a mix of Midwestern and southern.
Pay is probably higher in Nashville with COL being lower in Louisville.
TN doesn't have an income tax, but the sales tax is high. KY has fairly high taxes.
Pay is actually higher in Louisville with the cost of living being lower in Nashville. This is changing, however, due to Nashville's growth and transplants. Rents and housing costs are going up rapidly, so more long time residents/middle class families are being forced out of the central city area. Louisville, has the better public school system.
