Atlanta is becoming a big one. I also notice that Houston is becoming popular for people from Miss, Bama, and Western Tenn. It's always been a destination for people from Louisiana.

Yes thats true.I voted for NYC in the end though. Its a close one
Atlanta is probably most common around here (Chicago), but it's normally some city in the south to visit family... Memphis (in May), New Orleans, Miami, Orlando, with the exception of Las Vegas.....I think it depends on what part of the country people are from that determines where they vacation. Most people here in Chicago have roots in the south so that's where they vacation most of the time.
I guess the question is in what ways are African American vacation patterns different from the other races?
One would be cultural. As a minority those places of course would be fewer. Thersfore of more interest.
Unless there is a beach. As I have said before, everybody loves the beach.
Same as mainstream. In that case, Miami, Orlando, NYC. Miami especially around this time. Blacks from NYC to Atlanta will be heading to Miami Beach for Memorial Day Weekend. Urban Beach Week.
