Seattle is obviously going down the crapper with this no $15 implemented city minimum wage, and is probably going to have a higher rate of unemployment as well as businesses will NOT want to do business there. But what city do you think will be the next victim of this, in my opinion, STUPID and toxic raise?

S.F. to put $15 minimum wage on ballot - SFGate

I wouldn't be surprised at all if SF voters pass this, they probably will.

I could definitely see San Francisco, NYC does seem like it would, but it's such a huge city with a huge population, with I'm sure tons of businesses more notable, I'm not sure NYC on the who would, but for a smaller city like SF or Oakland probably moreso.

The DMV area should. Washington DC has some some of the highest wages in the country and everything is expensive there. There is tons of money flowing through DC. And with all the high wealth counties in adjacent Maryland and Virginia they should be next imho.

Are you being sarcastic? I can't tell LOL…if you aren't, then I disagree with your assessment of job loss.
They said the same thing here in BC when they raised it a few years ago, and people are trying to get it raised even higher now. Jobs actually increased. One reason is, that those people making more money spend it and since they are local workers and not travelling much, they spend it back into the community.

The evidence is clear: increasing the minimum wage doesn't cost jobs | Dave Oliver | Comment is free | theguardian.com

A $15 minimum wage will just put it on par with countries like Canada and Australia. So where is the problem exactly?

I doubt it, the minimum wage needs to be raised to keep up with expenses, think about minimum wage gets raised ALL THE TIME, and unemployment rate is going down as a matter of fact

What a biased, nasty OP to a new thread. Also completely ignorant to other successful examples of similar minimum wage raises.
