People watch too many movies.

There are few average-looking people in movies.

WHAT GOOD LOOKING SELFRESPECTING MAN IS NOT GOING TO APRECIATE HIS LOOKS?

I will have to say Los Angeles [and not just because I live here ] Because of the movie\TV industry both men & women come to California to be "discovered." Also cities like LA & Miami where being outdoors is a big part of the lifestyle attracts healthy-looking people. LA has a large gay community & lots of sports-oriented people that pay attention to their looks.

I have never seen so many handsome men in one location as I have at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta.

Not so many cities in the states that have really handsome men. Not on any grand scale.
