Keep in mind Vegas probably has a lot between Vegas and LasVegas
There is also a massive gap between the amount of people living in the Vegas valley (two million) and the amount of annual visitors (41 million). I highly doubt there's another city out there with a ratio like that.
Example: LA metro is 18 million residents with 44 million visitors.
Chicago gets a lot of midwestern tourists who think of Chicago almost as NY. I'm sure everytime some girl from Iowa enters Chicago she will hashtag it like she just entered high society.
And when I left Chicago and went to Miami, I hashtagged Miami because it felt like I just entered a third world mini-Cuba/Haiti ghetto.

Too bad Miami is more popular than the entire Arizona several times over. You can take #phoenx, #phx, #grandcanyon and whatever you have in that state of yours.
