If I understand your question, you mean by "harmonic", buildings that "fit" with each other, but still offer a balance. I think most of your choices are good with the exception of Vancouver. Vancouver has become a glass city filled with very similar looking buildings. Looks good in a car commercial, not so much in real life.

Well since no one is really commenting on a city that fits? Guess I will and assume its city vs city in that forum.

I generally complement Chicago. So I will say its core offers harmony in how differing buildings in architecture. Where the buildings just seem to blend like they all were planned all long for their spots.

A few pictures with harmony

NYC loses. All the new stuff in NYC clashes with older stuff that clashes with other things. Nothing harmonic about NYC architecture. NYC architecture is meant to stand out from the crowd. It's museums to the skyscrapers. Each makes a statement not blend in with the rest.

I have to agree with this and couldn’t have said it better myself. NY does not even try to make architecture fit or offer any sort of balance. Especially with the skyscrapers. It’s like they compete with each other to stand out and be the center of attention. Or even just stick out like a sore thumb just for the sake of sticking out. Just wait till all these new towers currently under construction are finished.
