Surprising to see Coke and HD right next to each other. Also, thanks for posting this great list.

For those of you guys interested in investing, a lot of those top companies spit out a ton of dividends per share. Except Amazon. They reinvest their gains in more R&D or something.

Interesting. I'm a bit surprised there isn't more big pharma represented. Unless I missed one, I only see J&J, Merck and Pfizer. Although I guess a lot of the big guys are now based ex-U.S. Tax inversion was a pretty popular trend for a couple years there...

Amgen, Thermo Fish, and Abbot could all have biotech components.

IBM at the bottom of the list. No GM or Ford. Top 5 companies have software to thank for their riches. Sign of the times.

United Technologies will soon be HQ in Boston

The Raytheon Co. and United Technologies Corp. are merging in an all-stock deal that the two companies say is a merger of equals. The new company's name will be Raytheon Technologies Corp. — and it's expected to have nearly $74 billion in annual sales.

The headquarters of Raytheon Technologies will be in the Boston metro area, the companies say. Raytheon is currently based in Waltham, Mass., (Boston) while United Technologies is based in Farmington, Conn.
