Which city in North America holds your favorite Italian neighborhood? Or "Little Italy"?

Some possible consideration:
Food
Architecture
History
Nightlife
Location Within the City
Other

Feel free to make some recommendations of restaurants, bars, landmarks, tours, etc.

I suppose Little Italy in Manhattan will be the choice of many, but I happen to like North Beach in San Francisco—not one of the options above.

Little Italy in Manhattan is not even a real Italian neighborhood anymore (nor is the Arthur Ave one either for that matter)

A tad too commercial for my tastes.

I know Providence isn't all that well traveled as compared to these other cities, but here is a street view of Federal Hill's main plaza, which most certainly belongs in this discussion:

Probs a tie between T.O and MTL for me to be honest since I spend most of my time in these cities. NYC doesn't even have a real Little Italy anymore sadly. As for the others, I've only been once and it was a long time ago, so memory is vague.

I wonder how North American Italian neighborhoods compare to the ones in Brazil and Argentina (both of whom got more Italian immigrants than the US)

Toronto's Little Italy is pretty great, though it's "watered down" with a lot of other ethnic cuisine, sports bars, etc. It's certainly not the most authentic, but it's a cool scene, and a great location.
